About
The Faculty of
Education
Faculty
of Education was established in 1967, formerly known as
the College of Education and subsequently changed to Srinakarinwirot
University, Phitsanulok Campus. It is one of the government
leading institutions for teacher education, especially
serving the people in the lower-northern region of Thailand.
Through the years, the Faculty has produced teachers And
educators of quality, many of whom are highly recognized
among the scholars in educational sphere. |

The
Faculty of Education is aiming at cultivating ideal teachers
and educators who are equipped with excellent academic
knowledge, both in Education and in its related field.
At the same time, it is attempting to build up their professionalism;
focusing leadership development, creativity, civic mindedness,
research skills, knowledge transmission skills, managerial
skills, and good ethics. |

Besides regular
programs during week days, the Faculty of Education also
offers special graduate programs for in service teachers
and educators as Follows :

Weekend M.Ed. programs: Educational Administration,
Guidance Psychology, Educational Technology and
Communication,Industrial Education, Curriculum and
Instruction, Sport Management
2.
Summer M.Ed. programs (for in-service teachers) :

Foreign
Students
In
1999-2002, there was one student from the PeopleRepublic
of Laos who studied at the Faculty of Education and graduated
with M.Ed. in the field of Educational Administration.
In 2001-2002, there were three students from the University
of Canberra. From 2002 to present, there is one student
from China studying under the Ph.D. program in field of
Educational Administration. Also, from October 2003 to
January 2004, one research student from Japan is planning
to arrive for her research study.
International
Relation
Faculty
of Education is determined to play an important role in
upgrading the knowledge and skills needed in Education
Science, especially in the fields of Pedagogy, Educational
Administration, Educational Research, Educational Evaluation,
Guidance Psychology, Educational Quality Assurance, and
so on.Therefore,the faculty is developing global networks
to link with scholars,research institutes and teacher
education insititutes all over the world. |
